The Chairman's July 2007 Newsletter
Dear Supporters, Taming of the Shrew – 23rd to 27th October 2007 The auditions for The Taming of the Shrew were really well attended and we were delighted to meet several new actors who displayed exceptional talent. Ian Cullen, our director, then set about the unenviable task of casting the play. Not wishing to disappoint anyone who had auditioned, Ian has cast everyone in one or more roles, so it should be a lively production. Rehearsals start in mid-July; there is a break in August to allow for school holidays, and then it will be full steam ahead in September and onwards to the production in the Bourne Hall at the end of October. Please put the dates (23rd to 27th October) in your diaries. We rely on your support to make the play a success, and to help put the company back on Farnham’s theatrical map. Our present membership list is based on records from previous years, and we appreciate that some members may no longer feel able to support us.
